SCOPE OF WORK The civil and structural work comprises soil/hydro-geological investigations, detail survey work at site to obtain data, preparation of scheme drawings and detail engineering drawings with supporting design calculations, obtaining approvals from the consultant, execution of site development, roads, drains, plant and nonplant buildings, paved yards, gantry, tank foundations, dykes etc. as required for a fully functional P ! "epot with all materials, labour, supervision, plant and equipment, tools and tackles, consumables, scaffolding, enabling work etc. including all incidental items not specifically mentioned but implied for successful completion of the work in accordance with drawings and detailed specifications.

COLLECTION OF SOIL & HYDROLOGICAL DATA The tenderer is required to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy himself as to the nature of ground and the soil, the availability and suitability of other requirements. The soil investigation report is enclosed to provide the general information related to subsoil parameters and it is not binding for the owner in regards to the accuracy of the information given there-in and its interpretation. #ontractor shall carry out soil investigation to ensure the adequacy of all foundations without any extra cost.

The balance area of the T!) pavement shall be of min. D- mm asphaltic concrete on top of 9(mm thk. @ituminous macadam. @elow the bituminous macadam, there shall be , layers of %@& of compacted thickness of 9( mm each. @elow the %@&, upto the original soil, a subbase of moorum or sand/gravel mix will be provided upto the original soil level. The minimum thickness of such filling shall be '-- mm and #@+ value shall not be less than .,. <ecessary slope is to be provided in this portion of the T!) pavement area for storm water drainage. 6.3.0 Pi1& 7$ i+/(d A#&$ =ntire manifold area shall be of +## raft foundation with retaining walls at periphery suitable for taking supports for manifold piping and operating platforms. The surface to be properly levelled for storm water drainage and finally to be routed to %3 drains.

TANK FOUNDATION5 TANK FAR75 DYKE WALL $ll tanks in tank farm area and also fire water tank shall be supported on sand pad foundation or +## ring type foundation or any suitable foundation as decided by the contractor as per site condition and soil parameters available. The #ontractor should catefully study the subsoil behaviour before arriving at a particular foundation type because piling may be required at places where deep marine clay deposition is met and the contractor should consider it in the quoted price. The overall final settlement of tank foundation shall be restricted to .--mm to be measured along with periphery of the tanks. The tank foundations are to be raised above proposed finished grade level to get a positive suction for all the loading pumps located in pump house. 1+aising of foundation shall be approximately -.C & w.r.t. pump house floor and w.r.t. )?! shall be as per plot plan2 "yke wall height shall be adequate to provide containment volume as per 73" norms. pen storm-water rectangular and or trape/oidal drains of required capacity and slope shall be provided around all plants, non plants buildings, tank farm, both sides of roads and in other areas as shown in the drawing. @ox culverts and pipe culverts under roads shall be provided for proper drainage. The final storm water discharge drain from the complex shall be routed to the nearest available storm water disposal or any other suitable area out side the complex for proper drainage of the terminal. Pipe crossing and cable crossings shall be provided with +## box or hume pipe type culvert and shall be designed to withstand #lass-$ type of loading. ?ratings or precast concrete cover shall be provided wherever required on top of drains. 3eparate drains to collect oily waste from tank farm area, T!) area, product pump-house and other areas where oil spillage or leakage is anticipated shall be provided, routed and terminated at %3 system. :.0.0 ROAD & PLINTH PROTECTION The whole plant area is well connected with single/double lane road as shown in the plot plan. The thickness and specification of road shall be as per enclosed drawing. 3uitable culverts/bridge for the free flow of surface drainage shall be properly designed and provided. $ll buildings shall have 9(- wide .-- thk. P## plinth protection along all peripheral sides with proper slope to drain out storm and other water to the adAacent drains. ;.0.0 FENCING5 GATE #hainlink fencing and ?ate shall be provided at locations as shown in the plot plan. The fencing is required to segregate the licensed area from the non-licensed area and gate is required at main entrance and at emergency exit. The height and other details shall be as per drawing enclosed. 10.0.0 WATER SUPPLY verhead tank of requisite capacity shall be provided for drinking, industrial and other use. 3tatutory requirement $ll buildings / facilities shall be designed in compliance with statutory requirement, municipal laws etc. $pproval shall be obtained from statutory bodies prior to commence the construction work. n completion of work contractor shall obtain occupancy certificate from the local statutory bodies.

1..0.0 DRAWINGS $ll the drawings shall be prepared in accordance with the provision of 73 0C0.C8,. $ll drawings shall be sufficiently detailed and dimensioned to help in speedy construction, fabrication, erection of structures. %herever any structure is presented in more than one sheet of drawing, same scale will be used in each sheet and notations for linking drawings with each other will be established. $ll modifications made in structure during various stages of construction should be duly incorporated in working drawings. The drawings will be developed with proper co-ordination with the equipment and electrical system design drawings. The drawings shall provide all details required for construction for steel structure in addition to design drawings, fabrication drawings shall also be prepared with detail material list and welding instruction wherever necessary. 16.0.0 INDUSTRIAL ARCHITECTURE5 LANDSCAPING5 HORTICULTURE AND ARBORICULTURE The whole P ! terminal complex shall be designed keeping in view its proper aesthetic appearance. The perspective view of the terminal with landscaping shall be submitted.

The future tanker parking area Turfing to be done in future tanker parking area. The #ontractor shall handover the plantations after satisfactory growth of plants. Bowever, same shall not form the basis for non-acceptance of the plant which otherwise might have been completed in all respect.
