Debbie Straus suggested procedure to evaluate items by level for future discussion. o Grades 1-3 1 (primary) o Grades 4-6 2 (elementary) o Grades 7-8 3 (junior high) o Should an item or item content be useable for multiple levels record all levels and separate by commas Those in attendance coded # 1-16 Discussions regarding populations to be tested and over all look of test o Simplify items for younger children o Use pictures instead of text to express content o Reword items based on level Decision to send materials to other task force members o Independently, task force members should examine tool and code for next meeting February 12th for further discussion February 4, 2014 PERA Task force
