Stephanie has served as a student teacher in my first grade classroom at Stanwood Elementary in the Hempfield Area School District from January 27- March 14, 2014. During the time that I have known Miss Fodor she has proven to be an outstanding teacher as well as an exceptional influence on the lives of children. Stephanies focus as a teacher has been to achieve the highest standards possible for both herself and her students. Her classroom management skills have been very successful. The students have a great deal of respect for her because she demands it from them, while maintaining an excellent rapport. She quickly came to know each student as an individual. Miss Fodor was always prepared for each lesson in advance and used a variety of materials and formats enabling all students to be successful. Her lesson plans were extremely efficient and creative and it was very obvious that she had spent a great deal of time in preparation for each and every lesson. She is conscientious and has a strong work ethic. Miss Fodor is energetic, confident, and optimistic. She is well received by all who meet her and works well with students, faculty, families, and staff. She has a great deal to contribute to the teaching profession and is well prepared to assume the duties of an elementary teacher. I feel certain she would be an asset to any school district.
