The sets are designed based on D-30KU/KP serial aircraft engines that have proved to be the most reliable engines in Russia operated on IL-62M, TU-154M and IL-76 serial aircrafts.

The sets can be of indoor and outdoor design and run as independent power source or in a grid (depending upon Customer demand the scope can include turbine generator of various series with similar operation performance, waste heat recovery units or steam generators, booster compressor plant ensuring boosting of either natural or petroleum gas up to operating pressure 16-19 kg/cm 2 ).

GTA-8RM key features - High reliability of drives (70% unification with serial D-30KU/KP gas-turbine engine with total operating time of more than 36 million hours); - Gearless scheme (engine-generator) of GTA-6RM and GTA-8RM, geared scheme (engine-generator) of GTA-10RM ; - Environmental certificate allows for set installation in the urban area; - High overhaul life is more than 30000 hours, total life is 120000 hours; - The most competitive price-quality correlation; - Capability to run in different cycles : simple, cogeneration and combined cycle.
