Indonesia is a country in Southeast Asia, which is crossed by the equator and located between Asia and Australia continent and between the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world comprising of 17 506 islands. Alternative names are commonly used Nusantara. With a population of around 260 million people in 2013, Indonesia is the fourth most populous country in the world and the largest Muslim country in the world, some 230 million even though officially not an Islamic state.
