4, this type of cleanroom is conventionally ventilated but where the product is exposed to contamination, a unidirectional flow cabinet or workstation is used.

In Figure 1.5 the isolator is shown to have a unidirectional supply of air but this may be a conventional turbulent-flow type. Similarly, gauntlets are shown, but half suits are also used.
