Lesson Steps Time Teaching/Learning Activity Have students take out their tablets and open up a voice recording app. Put 2 minutes on a timer. Instruct students that they have 2 minutes to record everything they know about being a soldier. They must whisper into the microphone so that it only picks up their voices, and that they need to make sure that they try not to repeat their facts so that they can get the most information into their lists. Do a large group sharing of some of the things that they listed in their voice recording apps. At the end of the sharing, instruct students to take out their laptops, and open a new recording on their tablets. Materials Tablets, voice recording app, timer
