    Prediction of investigation

    Test Tube A: My prediction for this tube is that the indicator will turn yellow. This is because there is no light for photosynthesis to take place so the plant will create more CO2. The plant will do respiration but will not create more oxygen. This means it will be less acidic and more neutral. Test Tube B: On this tube I think the indicator will turn red or orange or between does colours. I think this because there is light hitting the leaf letting it to do photosynthesis; this means there will be more oxygen created then it is used. So it will be more acid. Test Tube C and D: In these two test tubes the indicator will remain the same. There will be no leaf on both of the tubes so there is no oxygen produced, C02 or respiration-taking place.
