Cable tester c. #$P cable d. %&'( socket PROCEDURES a. )irst of all* we have to prepare for two cables that are straight and crossover cables. b. By !sing cri"per* c!t the cable to divide the cable into two as shown in pict!re below. )or crossover cable "ake it a bit shorter than the straight cable so that can be recogni+e easily.

e. $o "ake s!re that the arrange"ents are correct we will test the" !sing cables tester. By connecting the cable to tester* observe if the light is on or not. If the light is on "eans that the cable can be !se.
