SAP Installation Steps

1. Install the SAP Package from Intelligent Desktop Assistant 2. Once SAP is Installed and you see a desktop shortcut icon, Click on the same and follow the below steps;

3. With the SAPGUI Logon screen open: Select CONNECTIONS

Right click Connections and select Add New Folder

Enter PP1 Asia-Pacific Production or Any Other Name of your choice Right click on New Folder created under Connections and Select Add New Entry

Click the Next button. Select the Custom Application Server in Connection Type Text Box.Do not select Group Server

In the Description field, type : PP1 Asia-Pacific Production

In the Application Server field, type : sysappp1.asiapacific.eds.com

In the Instance Number field, type : 45

In the System ID field, type PP1 . Ignore SAP Router String Click the Next button. Ensure you have Low Speed Connection selected.

Click the Finish button.

Follow same procedure for

PL1 Americas Production P10 EMEA Production

In the Application Server field, type For PL1: plsappl1.plano.esc.eds.com For P10: rusapp10.es.ru.de.eds.com

In the Instance Number field, type For PL1: 01 For P10: 31

In the System ID field, type PL1 or P10 to correspond with your choice above.
