DESCRIPTION OF THE LESSON PLAN

Target group: Year 3 (Mixed Ability) Theme: World of Stories Topic/ Song Chosen: Mary Had A Little Lamb Content Standard: 1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation.

Learning Standard:
1.1.1 Able to listen and respond to stimulus given with guidance: (b) Instrumental sounds

1.1.3 Able to listen to and sing songs


1.2.2 Able to give: (a) Simple instructions. (b) Simple directions. 4.1.1 4.1.2

Focused Skill: Listening / Speaking Integrated Skills: Reading / and Writing Objective lesson:

Able to pronounce the words correctly.


Able to differentiate the names of the animals. Able to response and follow the instructions.

STRENGTHS IN LESSON CARRIED OUT


Interactive activities.
Using instrument to attract students. Classroom Management. The songs went well. Rewards system.

WEAKNESSES IN LESSON CARRIED OUT


Remedial activity is not effective enough. Enrichment activity is not challenging enough for the students. Some of the students arent pay attention.

Time management.
Activities were not enough for the students.

RECOMMENDATION FOR IMPROVEMENT


Prepare a more challenging activity for enrichment activity.

Prepare more remedial and enrichment activities incase some students had finished works earlier.
Keep the students busy so that they will not be distracted by other things. Keep the lesson straight to the point in order to save time.
