Yes! I just got second place on the headphone weekly challenge. This is the first instructables contest I won!
Image Notes 1. Sawtooth! 2. Total use of cord for me: 6-5 feet! That is only about .35-.45 cents worth of cord! (it just takes a while to make.)

Step 1: Materials
Well when I figured out how much cord I was going to use, I was surprised. Compared to the snake weave, it uses twice as less cord. It is pretty awesome! Materials: - 2 different lengths of cord measuring from end of hand to nose (plus a little bit if you have huge wrists) those need to be different colors. - 1 length of cord that is that is twice as long as the circumference of your wrist plus a enough to tie a knot. - a lighter Optional: -string to tie to a chair leg, post, tree, (just to keep the bracelet tight)

Image Notes 1. Black as the middle color creates a shadow look to the bracelet when you look between the cords.
Image Notes 1. Now the measurment you were asking for.... 2. The measurement is from the top left corner of the picture note (My nose) to the bottom right corner of the picture note. (Tips of my fingers) I hope that is clear enough now....

Image Notes 1. cord one 2. cord two 3. inner cord one 4. inner cord two
Image Notes 1. cord one to the back by crossing inner cord number one 2. cord two to the front by crossing inner cord number 2. 3. then open up the inner cords and have the cords one and two meet at two "X"s
Image Notes 1. then twist the loops those two cords made (the ones making the "X")
Image Notes 1. Then pull out the twist in the bottom. if you look at the weave, it is just two cords twisting in a spiral (in opposite directions) and interlocking in the center.

1. Then pull that VERY TIGHT (it will fall apart if it isn't tight) and squish the weave up. 2. DO NOT do this starting not. It was a PAIN. The bracelet would not stay together because of this and the knot would not stay in the loop.
Image Notes 1. Just make loops and pull the strings tight and then cut them off. Then melt the cords.

Where do you buy your paracord from?

Jun 18, 2011. 5:29 PM REPLY Army surplus stores, or online. Just google paracord. But make sure it ships close to where you live because the shipping might cost more than the paracord. Jun 14, 2011. 7:02 PM REPLY

Jun 16, 2011. 4:17 PM REPLY Ok so the the ultimate question is this, When cutting the two different colors of paracord for the weave, how are we holding our hand (relaxed, raised, etc.) and where on our nose are we measuring(tip, middle, etc.)?
Jun 16, 2011. 4:27 PM REPLY Sorry! I am in the process right now of submitting a picture showing that. Check back, I might submit the picture soon.

Jun 16, 2011. 3:44 PM REPLY Could you add a snap type plastic closure thingy to this, like the ones on dog and cat collars ? How to begin ? Could you do one with the clasp? Love your colors , can't wait to make one! Thanks

Jun 14, 2011. 7:07 PM REPLY Also love the end result, although it would be very nice for a little bit more detail and some more pictures, by the way definitely voting for you.
Jun 14, 2011. 9:33 PM REPLY Thanks! Well, I did not think this through very well. I also did not do very much close ups. I didn't because the close ups on my camera look horrible. Was this too confusing? I can see the knots in my head (I am a very visual person) so I memorize bracelet weaves after just looking at them once. Because of that I can not tell if the weave is too hard. Please rate! ( and vote )
