I watched a television programme yesterday about life on a desert island. Ten people decided to
go there to escape from the noise of the city.
I wouldnt like it. It was very hot all the time and there were lots of insects and dangerous animals.
The people had to build houses themselves, look for food and cook it on a fire. If they didnt find
anything, they were very hungry. Some people didnt want to fetch water from the river and they
began to quarrel.
We all wanted to leave after a week, said one of the girls but the television company refused to
let us. It wasnt fair. Even if they offered me a fortune I wouldnt do it again. I was so pleased to see
cars, supermarkets and lots of people when I came home!
