C. Ask questions to which the words underlined are the answers:

 Whales live in the cold seas. There are over 80 different species of whales. The biggest
are the blue ones. These can weigh over 150 tonnes. A blue whale’s heart is 2 metres tall and
weighs half a tonne. They come to the surface to breathe . People used to hunt them in the past
because they provided a lot of meat. Whales “sing” to each other underwater. Whale songs can
travel a long way, as far as 850 km.

Write a letter to a penfriend of yours telling him/her about a person who has changed
your life.
You should include information about the place/event where you met him/her, his/her
physical appearance, his/her job and hobbies, your feelings about him/her.
Do not use more than 100 words.
Start and end your letter in an appropriate way.
