This has reference to our scheduled pay-out in Palanan and Maconacon last June 22 and July 18-20, 2012
respectively. We had encountered a great pressure when were informed by your office that your
merchant had backed out a day before our pay-out and asking for a re-scheduling of pay-out.
DSWD cannot afford to postpone a day before the scheduled pay-out since all the beneficiaries were
already informed and our agency had already incurred expenses for the said pay-out.
We will be furnishing your office ahead of time of our next schedule of pay-out for proper dissemination
to your merchants and to avoid future recurrence of the same issues and concerns.
