President, George Hill called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

George asked if anyone had any changes to the minutes that were posted on the website.
He noted that the reasurer!s report in the minutes was not entirely correct and will be
corrected. "o other comments on the minutes.

homas with a #00$ ,- (obra. .ach 'on, also a new member, introduced his wife

0immy 1ngram, the reasurer stated that there was 234$.00 in the PayPal account and the
5ells 6argo checking account had 27,00$.80. here were a few checks written that had
not cleared yet. 9ut of that total, 2$,3::.00 is ,mithfield show proceeds. 1t was noted
that since the club entries for the ,mithfield show remaining in the club, PM; will ha<e
o<er 2:,000 in the club account which.
George also reported that ,cott 'yer from +ichmond 1nternational +aceway stated that
the car corral for /pril #7 at the raceway has sold out. He is looking for ways to e=pand
the corral for the ,ept. 7

George reported that the club tBshirts were in and anyone interest in them should see

George and ,cott, 0r. presented a proposal for a new PM; website. George reported that
-B'ulletin will be coming up for renewal in the ne=t couple of months and we need to
make a decision if we are going to renew or chose a new website. ,cott, 0r. talked about
using 5eebly.com which is <ery similar to 6ace 'ook and the ,mithfield show website.
1t will include a member!s only section, a forum, a place for pictures, etc. here were
three maCor things that were taken into consideration with this new website. 1t needed to
look nice, be easy to use and be easy to update. Fnlike the current website the new
website will be easy to edit ?similar to PowerPoint and 5ord@. 1t is also <ery easy to
transfer e$eryt%ing to the ne=t administrator. he current website does not make it easy
for people to Coin the club. he new website will. 0erry (agle shared his thoughts and
said he recommended that the club consider it. he current rate would be 2:0#, which is
the total for two years of hosting. /fter that the yearly rate is somewhere between 280B
230 or whate<er the going rate is at that time. "e<ertheless it is still cheaper and easier to
use than the current website. /s mentioned pre<iously there will be a member!s only
section where paid members will ha<e a password to access. 1t was noted that there were
no negati<e security issues found about weebly. /ll <oted to accept the new website and
,cott reported that new site should be ready within the first two weeks of May.

,mithfield, you park your cars and go directly to registration to get your packet so you
will be able to help with other duties.
,cott asked the team leaders handling +egistrationG/uction, Parking and -ote (ounting
if they had any Huestions or any issues. "one were reported.
,cott told the club that a 5ish family will be attending the show. he Dad, Doug and his
,on, /nderson will be attending. ,cott told them they didn!t ha<e to be present for the
whole show but they told ,cott they wanted to as they lo<e cars. /nderson will be
picking out the %'est in ,how) and presenting the award at the awards ceremony. More
information on the family will be coming.
1t was reported that we ha<e 44I donated auction items and a lot of raffle items. he
awards are here ?in pieces@ and will be put together shortly. ,cott reported that there is
also a link to order tBshirts for the show which are preBorder only and need to be ordered
by 5ednesday, /pril A0. 5e needed #0 tBshirts for the order to be placed and we ha<e
reached that goal. "o shirts will be a<ailable after /pril A0th. hey will be shipped so
that they are recei<ed for the show. ,cott also reported that he is e=pecting :80 cars.
