guest in attendance. The guest was Mary the site coordinator of the ee Hall !e"ot. #he
wanted to s"ea$ to the club officers about "ossibly ha%ing a show.
George as$ed if anyone had any changes to the minutes that were "osted on the website. &o
changes were re"orted.
The Treasurer's re"ort was gi%en by (immy as follows: Total money in the chec$ing account is
)1,0*+.,1 with all chec$s ha%ing cleared. (immy had )1- cash in hand for a t.shirt that had
been sold. This brings the total club funds to )1,0-/.,1.

The 0P111 meeting was held on (uly 17th. 2ord Mc1ormac$ will be the distribution and

following are items that were discussed.
The 0irginia 2all 1lassic 67ctober 8/, 8- 98,: "lanning meetings are the second Thursday of
each month at 7:00 at the 1omfort ;nn near Patric$ Henry Mall in &ew"ort &ews, 0<. Please
feel free to attend. =udy Mc!aniel re"orted that the 2all 1lassic this year will be centered on
the Mustang -0

anni%ersary. They would li$e to do a dis"lay of Mustangs which will consist of
one of each model year for the "ast -0 years. ;nterested "arties should submit their car entry on
the 0P111 website along with one "hoto of their car. There will be a team from local mustang
clubs that will select cars to be used for the dis"lay. They will choose one "rimary and one
alternate for each model year. There will be a s"ecial award gi%en to those that are chosen to
"artici"ate.
They discussed the =;= 6=ichmond ;nternational =aceway: 1ar 1orral and stated there is only

on site gi%ing away free sam"les. They ha%e also agreed to gi%e away a free sandwich cou"on

their "ortable truc$ on site selling cu"ca$es, coffee, etc. Dynne has agreed to hel" out with the

obtained some wonderful raffle "riEes and tic$ets will be sold at the show. #ome e4am"les are *

Ta%ern and many more. George will also be see$ing %olunteers from PMB to hel" at the show.
7ne of the items which will need to be manned will be the Monster Truc$ bouncy house. ;f you

2ord. Aobby #haron is chairman for this show. Dhile Aobby was unable to attend the meeting
it was re"orted that he said the show was coming along nicely.

left.

George re"orted that he had not heard any comments on the new PMB. Please register for the
forum.
George had emailed !on Hehner and Greg Darren to let them $now that the club had %oted
them to be Honorary 1lub Members. They will ha%e all club benefits e4ce"t for %oting. They
will each recei%e a PMB T.shirt, ha%e access to the forum and recei%e discounts Iust as other
members do. George read the emails he had recei%ed from each of them. They were both %ery
a""reciati%e and honored.
=udy re"orted that we ha%e two club members who are in the military who are currently
de"loyed. !a%id (amison and 0ic$y Myers. =udy said he had their contact information and
George stated it would be nice to send them an email.
