Community Group Facilitators Guide Week of May 10, 2014
I Have a Friend WhoWants to Know Gods Will
Intro: Our lives are filled with choices. Our friends lives are filled with choices. Knowing how to dialogue with our friends about the decisions we and they are making is important. This weeks discussion reminds us that the decisions we make end up making us.
Opening Discussion: Begin your group interaction by asking group members to share what kinds of decisions do we want our friends to help us make and why.
Sermon Discussion: Have group members share their thoughts on the truth that we are made by God to make decisions. Ask each group member to share a specific time they wanted to know Gods will simply to make the decision easy. Invite group members to specifically share their thoughts and feelings about the need to accept responsibility for our decisions. Give the group members the opportunity to share any decision-making that is currently going on their lives right now and how they need to apply the principles of decision making. Close by asking group members where are they and where do they want to be when it comes to making the great decision God shall be exalted above all else A.W. Tozer
Closing Prayer: Spend time praying for one another and the decision making that is currently going on in the lives of group members.
