Mary's house










This was an incredible experience because we were a little bit tired and
stressful because of the work. But in that moment we forgot all about the school
and we had a great time at Mary's rancho.
We were sharing some experiences while we were enjoying a delicious
pizza with some beers. After that we danced and singed with Karaoke. Thank
you Mary for letting us enjoy one of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica.

San Jos







April 20th, this was the beginning of this amazing experience. I arrived to
San Jose at 10:55 am, and the idea was that we was going to meet at 3:00 pm. I
was very nervous because I was in a different place with different people.
However, I decided to go to San Jos because it was so early. At the
beginning it was complicated because I went by bus and my packages were too
heavy, but once I arrived there I found a Taxy cop who gave me a tour in a very
cheap price and I knew the most important places like: museo del nio, museo
nacional, teatro nacional, hostpital de Mxico, estadio Nacional, Estadio del
Saprissa, escuela de metal and some others places.

My first class











This was my first class with my low intermediate students. First of all I
was really nervous because I did not know anything about them, what was their
English level, their characteristics neither their interests.
I was the first person in giving class from my teaching group and it was
very comfortable that while I was doing my class, students enjoyed it and they
liked the kinesthetic activities to know each other.

La pechuga








This day was amazing because we went to walk and swim in the river,
however we did something incredible, we climbed up that bridge and we
jumped into the river, at the beginning I was very nervous and scared but finally
I did it.
Also during this day we played soccer, sang karaoke and played ping
pong. We just had lots of fun and we forgot about everything. This was one of
my favorites moments in Costa Rica.

Hot springs









What a relaxing day, Mary could not choose any other better idea to have
a great time enjoying one of the most wonderful views that nature gives us.
It would be better if it was raining, but like this was not possible we took
some cold showers and then we went back to the swimming pools and enjoy hot
water. At the end it was nice that we played Never have I ever..

Playa Hermosa








Deciding going to the beach or not, at least for me was easy. When we
arrived to Costa Rica some of us were discussing about this trip. It wouldn't be a
complete experience if I came to Costa Rica and I didn't visit any of its beaches.
We had a great time not only in playa hermosa, but also during the 4
hours trip because we had the chance to stop in every single amazing views we
saw to take pictures.

First night at CEM








The first moment at Centro Espiral Mana was a shocking moment
because I was in a new place, with new colleagues, new teachers, new people
that I had never talked to and even I did not know how would be the
relationship.
I remember that I was very nervous because I had read about my
colleagues and I realized that they had a lot of experience and I was the
youngest. However, we were experimenting the same emotions and at the end
of that day we had an overview of each one and it looked to be a good group
work and it was.

ECRIF and PDP classes








During this time at CEM we were working with two frameworks that we
used in our teaching time, ECRIF and PDP.
This moment has an important impact because Roger and Amanda
showed us how to apply the frameworks. They didn't focus just in theory but in
practice too. Before those classes I had some doubts but with these examples I
could clarify them and I developed my plan like they were expecting using
ECRIF and PDP.

Ciudad Quezada








This moment was very curious because we were at CEM and suddenly I
said lets go to Ciudad Quezada and Lizandro, Yasmin, Lorena, Karol and Fritz
said that is a good idea.
I called William to take us to San Isidro and there we waited for the
public bus, this was awesome because we were playing and laughing in the bus.
When we arrived to the city we just walked around the main square and we ate
at Pizza Hut. We had a lot of fun and when we went back it was raining so hard
but this was an extra factor to make this experience unforgettable.

Reflection time








Despite of all the amazing moments I have had in this unique experience,
I consider that this was the most unforgettable because we reflected about what
we we hoped before starting, what we did during this time and what are going to
do with all what we learned.
I realized that I accomplish my goals, I do not know how to explain with
words what I felt when I was reading my letter and when I was saying thank
you to everybody, I felt a knot in my throat. And also I reflected in what
inspired me to do what I am doing and this is that I want to offer better
opportunities to Mexican kids.
