ISFUN Lab 2 08/09 Apr Sem 1

Objectives:
1. To explore and acquire skills on the use of Microsoft Office (MS) software
- POWERPOINT;
2. To apply skills acquired to create presentation slides;

This lab exercise is to expose you to the various functions of MS software –

POWERPOINT in creating presentation materials. After you have finished creating the
presentation materials, you will present your work to show the various functions that you
have used.

What to do?
1. Research on a topic of your choice on the internet (eg. Favorite food, favorite
pastime, favorite travel destination, favorite hobby etc).

2. Create a 5-slide or more presentation materials on your topic of research.

3. In your presentation, you should have the following :

• A cover page to show title of your research
• A content page to show the agenda of your presentation
• Bullet points and relevant pictures for each slide
• Footer to show your name, date this document is created/updated and page number
• Notes to indicate where you obtained your materials or pictures from
• For the last slide, embed the WORD document you have created from your
previous lab as an icon which can be clicked to open. Next add a hyperlink to this
same file.

4. Important points to note :

• Choose a nice background page for your slides
• Include a table in one of your slides
• Include slide transition
• Include some animation in your slides and add sound file to 1 or 2 animation
