Ultimate Frisbee

Information:
The game of Ultimate Frisbee is a great team game that combines some of the
elements of football, basketball, and soccer. The formal game calls for seven
players on a side.
Object of the Game:
The object of the game is to pass the Frisbee disc to a teammate who is
positioned in the opponents endzone.
The Play:
The two teams flip a coin to determine which team will receive. Each team faces
one another behind the line known as the goal line!, which marks their endzone,
and the disc is thrown towards the receiving team.
Rules:
". The disc may never be handled# it m$st always be thrown.
%. &o player may move while in possession of the disc. 'e(she may pivot on
one foot in any direction, as in basketball.
). The disc may be thrown in any direction.
*. &o more than one person may g$ard a thrower.
+. The defensive team gains possession of the disc whenever the offensive
teams pass is incomplete, intercepted, knocked down, or goes o$t#of#
bo$nds.
,. -$t#of#bo$nds throws are taken over by the opposing team at the point
where the disc went o$t#of#bo$nds. .f the disc goes o$t#of#bo$nds after
crossing the goal line the opposing team may throw in from either corner
of the endzone at the goal line.

Scoring:
-fficial games are played to %" points with a margin of victory being at least
two points.
