QUALIFICATIONS As Captain for Interpretative Events in my high-school debate team, I was awarded
several awards for performances at competitions, such as 'Best Interpreter for
Poetry/Prose' and 'Best for Dramatic Interpretation.' As a result of my experiences in
debate, I maintain an excellent degree of social perception and affability regardless of the
amount of social pressure that is present, especially in relations to speaking effectively
with adults and figures of authority.

I persistently attended advance placement courses in the fields of history and english; I
am currently in AP Language & Composition, and have just recently taken the
standardized AP test.
INTERESTS 19th and 18th century literature have, as of late, been objects of serious intrigue to me,
and as a result of my fervent reading I have resolved to pursue psychology as well as
English composition. Social work will supplement my income while I spend my free time
developing various works, scholarly and fictional alike. I am also quite fond of finding
new and interesting music; I generally try to experience as many new things as I can, in
order to smooth my entrance into adulthood.
