Notre Dame Cathedral

The Cathedral of Notre-Dame of Paris located in District IV, is one of the oldest French
cathedral Gothic. Construction began in 1163 and was completed in 1345. Dedicated to
Mary, Mother of Jesus Christ (hence the name Notre-Dame), is situated in the small Ile de
la Cit in Paris, France, surrounded by the river Seine.

Baslica of Saint-Denis
The Basilica of Saint-Denis (in Spanish, San Dionisio) is a famous church in art history by being
the first to be built in the Gothic style and is situated in Saint-Denis, near Paris. It has cathedral
status since 1966, but remains an abbey (monastery or Christian under the orders of an abbot).

Louvre Museum
The Louvre is France's national museum dedicated to art previous to the impressionism. It is
one of the largest in the world. Located in Paris in the old royal palace of the Louvre, and is
currently promoting the opening of two branches, in Lens (France) and Abu Dhabi (UAE).

The Louvre is home to several of the masterpieces of world art that have achieved iconic status

Eiffel tower

Eiffel Tower, initially named 330-meter tower is a structure of puddled iron designed by French
engineer Gustave Eiffel and his staff for the Universal Exhibition of 1889 in Paris.









Palace of Versailles
The Palace of Versailles is a building that served as a royal residence in past centuries.
The palace is located in the town of Versailles, le-de-France. Its construction was
ordered by Louis XIV, and is the most important architectural complex monarchical
Europe.
