Eiffel Tower
is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the
Champ de Mars in Paris, France.It is
named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel,
whose company designed and built the
tower from 1887 to 1889. Locally
nicknamed "La dame de fer" (French for
"Iron Lady").
This tower is part of UNESCO. The tower is
330 metres tall.Its base is square,
measuring 125 metres.

In 2015 6.91 milions of people visited this


tower.
Notre-Dame de Paris
Our Lady of Paris

is a medieval Catholic cathedral on the Île


de la Cité. The cathedral, dedicated to the
Virgin Mary, is considered one of the finest
examples of French Gothic architecture.
Notre-Dame stands out for its three pipe
organs (one historic 1868) and its immense
church bells. There are 10 of them are in 2
main bell towers Notre-Dame used to have
other smaller bells in the spire and within
the roof, but these were destroyed in a fire
in 2019.

On 15 April 2019, while Notre-Dame was


undergoing renovation and restoration, its
roof caught fire and burned for 15 hours.
The cathedral sustained serious damage.
The flèche (the timber spirelet over the
crossing) was destroyed, as was most of the
Telo
lead-covered wooden roof above the stone
vaulted ceiling.
