Definition: Nationalism is having a

strong feeling of pride in and
devotion to ones nation.
Good:
1. It can bring countries together
2. The people of the country fight for their country
with pride
Bad:
1. Many people of the country may fight for what it is
right and lose their life
2. The country in return may be hurt severely
What is imperialism?
Definition: building an empire by
dominating another
Good:
1. Many resources were attained
2. Tons of millions of dollars were taken out of the
crops and resources found
Bad:
1. People of these countries were treated horribly and
work hard but received nothing in return
2. European countries just decide they can handpick
the countries they want
