Dear Sir,
1. In the site meeting of dated 13-05-2014, the subject matter was discussed with
Project Director (EHV-II) Hyderabad, who instructed to start the site activities on
Boundary Wall according to the following parameters already approved by the
Engineer and accepted by our office vide letter No. NEIE/SHK/473 dated: 18-032014.
In this contest, it is stated that;
i.

Length of Boundary Wall to be constructed as per General Layout Drawing No.

SHK/NEIE/001 is 683 Li.m.

ii.

Boundary Wall Drawing No. BQ/NTDC/SHK/BW-107-13 & General Layout

Drawing No. SHK/NEIE/001 approved by Barqaab on which all the details are
based may be reffered.

iii.

Total amount approved by Chief Engineer (EHV-II) NTDC, Hyderabad is

Rs. 14849841/-.

2. Further please refer our letter No. NEIE/SHK/473 dated: 18-03-2014 wherein
acceptance was given to construct the Boundary Wall at an amount of
Rs. 14849841/- at the following terms and conditions.
1.

All the terms & conditions of Contract No. SHK-001(Package-1) will be

followed.

2.

The items already existing in bid price will be followed.

3.

The items not covered in bid price but as advised shall be prepared according
to WAPDA composite Schedule of Rates 2013 Zone 4 after 20% discount. The

necessary variation approval of these items as at Annexure-B is required for

further payment procedure.

The revised drawing according to site requirement is enclosed for review and
approval.
The detailed estimate prepared/based according to the Contract No SHK-001
(Package-1) and WAPDA C.S.R 2013 Zone 4 is enclosed for reference at
Annexure-A.

3. Now as per above quoted correspondence and clarified in above Para 1 and 2, the
length of wall is fixed in the drawings approved, rate allowed in the contract BOQ
and rate submitted for approval of variation, the amount allowed has been fixed Rs.
14,849,841/- regardless the length of wall to be constructed which can increase or
decrease as per site requirement and hence corresponding amount shall change.
Accordingly the final cost shall be adjusted and allowed.
It is therefore requested to review the approval of revised drawing as already requested
and amount keeping in view the terms and conditions quoted in our letter at Sr. No. 2,
otherwise it shall not be possible for us to proceed for the execution of this work.
