2.3.3.2 MOTOR POOL (NMC AREA)

The Contractor shall construct a motor pool and unit vehicle parking area of aggregate construction
located within a fenced area as indicated with the drawings in Appendix B-1. The lot shall be split in two
with a separating fence for inbound and outbound vehicles including two vehicle and two personnel gates.
Access aggregate road to motor pool gates shall be 9300mm wide including 2000mm widening for
pedestrian access to the personnel gates.
2.3.3.3 SIDEWALKS
The Contractor shall construct aggregate sidewalks to connect the motor pool with Road H. Two sets of
concrete stairs will be constructed between building 101 and 100 and between building 100 and 107.
Stairs shall have a landing at the midpoint between the high elevation and low elevation of the,
foundations shall be below the frost depth and steel hand rails on at least one side. The stairs shall be
constructed per details provided in Appendix B-1.
2.3.4 EROSION CONTROL
The Contractor shall provide the following to reduce erosion and to provide dust control:
a. Native crushed aggregate shall be placed around all buildings, from the face of building wall out 3m
(min.).

b. Native crushed aggregate shall be placed at areas of anticipated foot or vehicle traffic.

c. Replacement aggregate shall be provided at areas that are found to be deficient based upon
discussions with the Contracting Officer.
