Our day-a-day life is time after time influenced by religion, beliefs, politic, etc. but all of these
things change depending of the place we live or we have grown. We call it Culture. Culture is
the group of ways of life, customs, knowledge and even music and fashion which people has in
common on a society. For example, the most important day on USA is the 4
th
of July, the day
where North Americans celebrate the Independence of USA.
That was on year 1776, when people officially decided to get split from Great Britains
Kingdom. This manifesto explained the decision of the thirteen colonies to be separated from
English colonizers and was principally written by Thomas Jefferson. Then it was approved on
July 2
nd
, 1776 and made official two days after, the Fourth of July.
Since then, every 4
th
of July people commemorate their independence and the fourth of July
became National Holiday on year 1941. People celebrate Independence Day such as any other
national holiday and this is commonly associated to family reunions, convivial lunches, picnics,
barbeques, fireworks, parades, carnivals, concerts, fairs, baseball games and any other festivals
where people meet at street and have fun celebrating the also called birthday of USA.
Although the Fourth of July has become the most relevant fest day in North America, there is
also a lot of cultural references about this precious day suchlike appearances on movies, TV,
dramatic performances and even also in songs. For example, the Californian southern-rock
band, Shooter Jennings wrote a song called 4
th
of July that tell a love story happened on a
Fourth of July.
So if you dont have plans for the next 4
th
of July, youll can also celebrate also the
Independence Day of USA widely around the world.
