Retreat 2013

October 8, 2013, a very memorable day I may say. We, the S.Y. 2013-2014 batch of 4
th
year
Gornez had our retreat- a time to say Thank You for all the moments that we shared together, happy
or sad and Im Sorry for the moments where we misunderstood each other. This unites us all and
made us even stronger.

At first, we always thought of it as a boring activity where we would just count sheeps and plays
with our fingers until it ends, but we were very much wrong about it. I could still hear our laughter
listening to Brother Andrews stories and our silent sobs and the tears in our eyes watching all the video
presentations prepared for us. I could still recall the very happenings in our Social Night where we
danced with our group mates, some even sang, playing with each other and whatever we want to do.
Our retreat lasted for only 2 days and 1 night and that is worth remembering for because we really
enjoyed it. On that certain place where we held our retreat, we always say that What you see, what
you hear, leave it here so, whatever happened in there, its between me and my classmates. For now,
we already knew each one of us and we are brought closer to God and our adviser, Mrs. Myrna Gornez. I
could still remember all the things weve experienced- the laughter, the tears and the learning weve all
shared.
