    1. With a neat circuit diagram, explain early AM wireless systems.
    2. Write a short note on analog colour code used in AMPS.
    3. Explain the mobile phone initialization process with the help of a signal
    flow diagram.
    4. Explain the mobile phone handoff operation with the help of a signal flow
    diagram.
    5. With an example, explain the advantage of cellular architecture in mobile
    communication.
    6. Write a short note on different channel allocation techniques.
    7. Briefly explain:
    a. Cell sectoring
    b. Lees microcell technology
    c. Location management
