Dear Mrs. Luck:

On Monday, February 24th, I was approached by a coach at Premier Academy to coach a few
tumbling classes for her after I was finished with the team that I was coaching. This experience
peaked my interest in coaching more. As a result, I am excited to apply for a coaching position
at Premier Academy. I believe strongly that every athlete should be taught with patience,
knowledge of the sport, support and encouragement. These are just a few of the skills I have to
offer and my resume is enclosed for you to review.

Through my experience training at Exelta Gymnastics and then moving to your gym, I learned
how important it is to have a strong, positive bond between athlete and coach. Having trained as
a cheerleader and a gymnast I have learned all the possible tumbling passes for levels one
through to three according to the USASF rules and guidelines. My experience junior coaching
has allowed me to grow immensely in my leadership and productivity skills. The girls I am
currently coaching learn a new skill every single practice and are becoming stronger athletes
and learners every day. I am currently enrolled to attend the upcoming coaching conference in
Edmonton at the end of May. My involvement in Kindergarten Here I Come and babysitting for
numerous families have provided me with skills such as patience, organization and planning.
These skills will help me plan effective semi-private, private and group tumbling classes.

Premier Academy is a wonderful organization that t creates exceptional athletes, learners and
leaders every single day. I look forward to speaking with you about this position. Thank you for
