Sitapatr School This week we are learnin$: Animals Part 1 Circle Ti%e Re&iew After we go over the days of the week, the weather and the songs we will review different topics. I think the students could use more work on classroom objects and counting up to 15. e will sing the counting songs along with identifying classroom objects. "cti&ity Ti%e 'ocabulary: !he new vocabulary for this week will be" #at, dog, bird, cow, pig, chicken, horse, sheep, goat and rabbit. "cti&ity: $irst we will use flashcards to learn the vocabulary. e will play the usual games such as %$ly &wat', %#orners' and %$eed the (uppet'. e will also play a charades)like game to get the students activated and motivated to learn. !his will be a fun activity with the children. e will also do a &heep Art (roject that will consist of gluing cotton to act as wool on the sheep. (on$s: !he Animal &ounds &ong Phonics )ew *etters an+ (oun+s e are now starting the * th series of the +olly (honics songs. !he first two,three classes will consist of introducing the letters, learning the sounds, songs and actions. And then we will start to play games and have some fun with the letters. I would like to also have the students be able to identify just the letter on its own as well. Re&iew e just finished the - rd series of +olly (honics letters. I would like to do a .uick review at the start,end of every (honics class. /ot only will I review series - but the 1 st and 0 nd series as well. e will play the guessing game and go over the sounds, actions and songs to each letter. Writin$ Practice !here will be no writing practice until week 10. And homework will be given from there on out.
