Course Objectives:

1. Understand the business of publication and its overall management.


2. Learn the craft of writing various articles --- news, features, editorials and investigative reports ---
and the art of editing – the basics and the rules.
3. Layout a newspaper front and inside pages.
4. Acquire basic skills in newsgathering and writing.
5. Understand and learn how to put up a publication starting from the planning to printing stage.
