Eponas Lancers (Western celtic factions)

The goddess of epona was the god of horses and fertility, these riders
pray to her before every battle and are famous for skill with the lance
Class: Elite shock cavalry/ 2 per army cap
Armor: Horse=no armor/Rider=heavy armor iron mail.
Gallic Batores (Western celtic factions)
Chosen from the strongest most fierce peasents they where meant to
disrupt formation with their fierce charge before the swordsmen would
mop up the rest
Class: Shock infantry
Armor: naked with tatoos
Bagaudas (Western celtic factions)
A good commander will always know when to employ these men, picked
from peasents and trained by local soldiers these light spearmen are a
dangerous ambush unit

Acaudretti ( Western celtic factions)
Armed with tragulas these javelin men are quietly deployed to the rear
of the enemy when the fighting is in full force and made to disentigrate
the rear with javelins

Veteran skirmishers armed with the gabella a javelin so heavy it is
helmet and armor piercing and can split a mans face into two, though not
only in ranged combat a threat these men also wield a two handed sword
to add another level to their effictivness in combat
Class: Heavy shirmishers with very strong melee capability
Armor: Iron mail and helmet
Cauaros ( Arverni, Pictones, Namnetes, Volcae)
Champions of gaul, these men are famous for their skill in every disciple
of combat, they are the most heavy swordsmen a gallic army can field,
used as bodyguard for a chiefton or as line unit to inspire the men

Armor: Heavy iron mail and large oval shield+ helmet

Cingetes ( western celtic factions)
A low armored elite famed for their fighting skill and agility, they wield
longswords and know where to place them

Armor: leather tunic or no armor very succeptible to missile fire

Arjos ( Western celtic factions)
Nobles fighting on foot armed with the best armor and weapons they
where dangerous but most importantly highely raised the morale of their
men and filled there hearts with the will to carry on

Eporedes ( Western celtic factions)
Heavy cavalry, respected amongst all warriors and leaders, used in the
campaigns of both Hannibal and ceaser they are a dangerous unit capable
of wonders

Gaiseredus ( Western celtic factions)
Light cavalry used as a skirmisher and scouting unit thse men where
cheap, low armored but had a talent for throwing javelins at people

Gaiseporedes ( Western celtic factions)
Warriors who where wealthy enough to afford a horse fought as the
medium cavalry branch of a gallic army

Boiin Light spearmen ( Boii)
Common infantry men cheap and affordable given a spear and some
javelins they where used as front line infantry

Night Warriors (Boii)
Specialised in night attacks and quick raids they are experienced
commandos armed with daggers and axes to quickly kill guards and
infantry

Armor: No armor naked but black coloring on themselves, axes and
daggers and short shield

Boiin Axemen (Boii)
The axe was a common weapon because it was cheap and required less
training to be lethal , so giving it to these trained axemen made them
even more dangerous

warrior can have combining these horses with the skill they posess in
combat make these men a dangerous asset

Highly armored and highly skilled whoever underestimates these
warriors makes a grave mistake

Desire for glory make these young men dangerous on the battlefield and
highly skilled with the javelin

Boii Macemen (boii)
Those too poor to afford equipment are given maces or axes to fight for
their pay, these men are usually very big and muscular

The anatolian highlands breed fine men and strong warriors even
thought they are lightly armored these men can bury an axe in youre
enemies skull with ease

armor and Galatian swords they have been ordered to fight for the tribe

war teutatis are a fear bringing asset and dangerous to all men in their
path

Though archery was not the most preffered way to kill people in Galatia
they did recognize that this was a dangerous and effective combat
method and trained there men to master it

of their surrounding a good commander will know how to incorporate

Carnutian freemen ( Carnutes)
The gauls always favored independence and fought for it, these strong
men train to defend their people with all they can, but they prefer the
axe

Namnetes Ambush Warriors (Namnetes)
Axes are these mens speciality they train with it for everyday and when
it comes to fighting they cut their enemies down like trees

Belgae Naked axemen( Nervii)
This warrior society never drank alcohol and let themselves be corrupted
by outsiders, they only focused on war and fighting perfecting their
technique with the axe

Pictone Raiders ( Pictones)
Living on sea their entire life these men come from fishing villages and
mercenary raider fleets, they know how to fight with swords and axes

Hunters living in the upper river basin of the arar, trained with the bow
can be called upon by the chiefton to play their part as skirmishers

Treverian Horsemen ( Treverii)
Being famed for providing ceaser with his best cavalry during the gallic
wars these cavalry men where unstoppable when given the order to
charge

Vivisci Chosen Longswords ( Vivisci)
Being a part of this unit is a honor and an oath to the Vivisci, the
warriors are trained by their ancestors to join this elite
