Fix for CTM5301 error.

Table name found while expecting a job

This error occurs if the job name in the jobname field at the group level is the same as the group itself
To correct this error is a multi step process as follows:
First to display the current name in the job name field at the folder level, Check-out the table
to your Planning domain and click list, to see the current job name

Now click map to go back to the flow chart view
Next click Find and Update
In the Find and Update window, under Find jobs that match. Click on Control-M Server, you will get a menu
Choose General, job/sub folder name

Click find, you will see the list of job names at the bottom of the window


Now click the + sign under Update matching jobs

Click application to get the menu, choose general /job sub folder name/replace expression

Click assign/replace expression

Make your changes as shown and click Update - i.e. add the folder name to the first box and give it a new name in the
second a unique job name Pxxxc000 seem a popular choice

Click update, and the result


Close the Find and Update window and again click list. The job name field has changed as requested


Save the xml and/or upload to the control server.
If the error persists then make a copy of the current Folder in production and then delete, now retry the load of the
updated XML again.
