The thesis entitled Personality Factors and Anxiety Level of Policemen in Lipa City Batangas, was made

by the researchers in order to:

Contribute to the field of psychology by giving a more concrete and better understanding of the
psychological factors of the policemen which shape their personality and individuality.
Help the community gain better understanding of the policemen capability to protect the
people and maintain the peace and order in Lipa City.
Answer the current issues of police competency and capacity to serve the people through
studying their psychological status and mental readiness for any possible threat or problem.
Generate information that may be useful for the officers-in-charge to improve the quality of the
service of the police thus, creating better impression to the community.
Focus on one of the vital needs of an individual as described on Maslows Hierarchy, the need
for a better and efficient security for all, which served as the foundation of the study.
