Vegemite is a dark brown Australian food paste

made from leftover brewers' yeast extract with


various vegetable and spice additives
developed by Cyril P. Callister in Melbourne,
Victoria in 1922. The texture is smooth and the
product is a paste. It is not as intensely
flavoured as British Marmite and it is less sweet
than the New Zealand version of Marmite.

Theres a love hate relationship
between this brand towards each
individuals. Some people might
love it and some people just
might hate it.

The company was established by Nigel Austin
in Geelong, Australia, at the time it only sold
women's clothing. The original Cotton On
offer has expanded to intimates, sleepwear
and activewear with Cotton On Body,
childrens fashion with Cotton On Kids,
footwear with Rubi shoes, and gifts anIn 2013,
Cotton On acquired Australian fast-fashion
brand Supr andplans to expand it to other
