Hospital is a 94 bed hospital providing Medical, Rehabilitation,
Surgical & Mental Health Services to the community of Lake
Macquarie & the Hunter region. The Hospital's main surgical focus
is in the areas of Orthopaedics, Urology, General, Plastics &
Paediatrics.

Our Mental Health Unit, Lakeside Clinic, is a 51 bed inpatient unit
within Warners Bay Private Hospital.

Working with a team of consultant psychiatrists this position
requires you perform within a multidisciplinary team, providing
assessment & ongoing management to patients ensuring continuity
& care between the hospital & the community.

This is an excellent position for an experienced Psychiatry Registrar
to either work at Registrar level or Career Medical Officer (CMO)
level. This position would also suit a Registrar in General Practice
wishing to expand their mental health skills on a part-time basis.

Essential Criteria:
Experienced Psychiatry CMO / Registrar
Eligibility for general registration without restrictions in Australia
OR general registration with restrictions that allow for practise in
psychiatry AND be eligible for permanent residency
A collaborative & conscientious approach to patient care
Sound medical knowledge including BLS / ALS
Sound interpersonal & clinical psychiatric skills

The position is located 2 hours north of Sydney in a Ramsay Health
