Personal Profile

I would like to begin my career within the IT sector as this is an industry I have a massive passion for while also
having some experience in this field. I enjoy working on computers especially the technical side as I find this both
interesting and intriguing in terms of how a computer functions. I believe I possess the skills necessary to succeed
within IT as I have excellent troubleshooting skills while also being a logical thinker when it comes to fault finding.

IT is a passion of mine and I have a strong desire to begin my career within the industry I see as not only hobby but
an excellent career choice. I have gained many skills both in school and during my work experience which has
enhanced my skill set; this has allowed me to gain a strong knowledge and understanding of computers. Im able to
build a PC from scratch as I have a firm understanding of all the hardware components. I have fixed many
computers for family, friends and users as I had to do this as part of my work experience this has helped me gained
the skills required to work towards becoming an IT Technician. I also have experience in using softwares as I have
created a game and a website using Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash. I would like to continue my development
by improving my knowledge in order to allow me to reach the goals I have set for myself.

Work Experience
MGL World November 2011 (2 weeks work experience)
IT Support

MGL World is a company that assists primary schools with any IT problems such technical issues or designing websites for
schools and maintaining this with regular updates. My duties included;
Travelling to schools, instructing and teaching staff how to use new technology with regards to the software of new
machines which was mainly smart boards
Building PCs for school use
Being involved in the process of designing the school website, I had to use my knowledge and creativity to create the
site for many schools

Hobbies & Interests
My hobbies included keeping up to date with new technology, playing on console based games, playing and
