Course Expectations:

* Organize, maintain and update daily a Social Studies Notebook which contains a Table of
Contents, Quiz Record Sheet, all classwork, homework and quiz/test papers in numerical order.
* Bring Social Studies Notebook to class daily
* Identify the early people and civilizations of North and South America
* Identify the early European explorers of North America and colonies of North America
* Identify the original 13 colonies
* Compare and contrast the events which led to the Revolutionary War
* Describe how African-Americans were treated during the era of slavery in the United States
* Describe the events which led to the Civil War.

* Students will be graded on academic achievement, work habits and effort. The columns below

Expectativas del curso:

* Organizar, mantener y actualizar diariamente un cuaderno de estudios sociales que contiene una
tabla de Contenido, Quiz grabar hoja, class work, deberes y quiz/prueba papeles en orden
numrico.
* Traer el cuaderno de estudios sociales a clase todos los das
* Identificar la gente temprana y civilizaciones del norte y Amrica del sur
* Identificar los primeros exploradores europeos de Amrica del norte y las colonias de Amrica
del norte
* Identificar las 13 colonias originales
* Comparar y contrastar los hechos que condujeron a la guerra revolucionaria
* Describir cmo trataron a los afroamericanos durante la poca de la esclavitud en los Estados
Unidos
* Describir los hechos que condujeron a la Guerra Civil.
