We are extremely pleased to offer our strongest recommendation for Brenna McConnells teaching application. Brenna volunteered as a research assistant in the Esses Lab for the Study of Intergroup Relations at the University of Western Ontario for one year. It is during this time that we had the privilege of supervising her work. From the beginning Brenna excelled in everything she did. Brenna is bright and energetic. She is very conscientious, hard working, dependable and responsible. She has excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Because of these assets Brenna very quickly was given the task of training new research assistants in our lab. Whenever something important needed to be done, out of the twelve research assistants she was the first person called upon because she is so trustworthy and her work standards are so high. She was also capable of taking on more complex assignments. Her work is always solid and there were never any flaws. Brenna is highly motivated. She was very committed to the projects to which she was assigned and therefore looked ahead to anticipate ways of improving the success of these projects. Brenna invited feedback in order to ensure that her work was of the highest quality. She was in great demand by all of the graduate students. Not only could Brenna be trusted to work independently, but she also worked well with the other members of the lab. Brenna has a very pleasant personality and everyone enjoyed working with her. She set the standard for other research assistants and we do not believe the year would have been as successful without her. It is our hope that you give Brenna McConnells application serious consideration. We believe she will be an asset to your school board.
