Grade Breakdown
Classwork: 10% A: 90-100%
Assignments: 10% B: 80-89%
Quizzes: 20% C: 70-79%
Tests: 40% D: 60-69%
Final: 20% F (failing grade): below 60%

Classroom Rules and Expectations:
Stay in your seat until the bell rings
Come to class EVERY DAY prepared with: 3-subject notebook/binder, folder, pencil
(sharpened), planner
Respect other people and their possessions
Follow instructions immediately and without arguing

Consequences for Breaking Rules (may be changed at my discretion):
Written Warning
Call home
Detention
Reward: Students with NO warnings or consequences receive extra credit on tests!


Locker/Bathroom Passes
Students are expected to come to class on-time and prepared. Therefore, students will not be given
passes to their lockers for any reason. No bathroom passes will be given in the first 10 minutes of class.

Cell Phone Policy
All Cell Phones, iPods, and other Electronic Personal Devices must be TURNED OFF and put out of sight
during class (see p. 13 of Student Handbook). I reserve the right to confiscate any of the above items if
they are in violation of this policy.
