Coach Sterlings World History Welcome Letter

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome back Roos! Welcome to World History! I am very excited to have you and your student as part of our
class this year. Our study of World History will include investigating continuity and change in the human experience,
exploring great traditions that have developed around the world as required by state law in the Texas Essential Knowledge
and Skills. We have a great deal to learn. Therefore, it is vital that your student is in class every single day, participating
in the lesson.

Here is some additional information about our class. Ask your student to see the full syllabus.

Materials Needed Everyday:
1. Pen/Pencil
2. Interactive Journal (composition notebook)
3. Stickies notes

KISD High School Grading Practice:
40% Classwork/Quizzes/Warm-Up
60% Tests/Projects
