    We recently communicated to you concerning our ABON/ACON rebranding within Territory 2
    countries.

    As you may know, Alere (previously Inverness Medical Innovations) acquired ACON Laboratories, Inc.
    (ACON) lateral flow immunoassay business within Territory 2 countries (China, Asia Pacific, Latin
    America, the Middle East, Africa, parts of Eastern European, Russia, and CIS countries) on April 30

    Per agreement between Alere and ACON., the Alere Group can use certain ACON brands until
    January 31

    We are currently working with the new brand transition and related product certificate application. We
    are pleased to inform you that the ACON branded products will be phased out and replaced by our
    ABON brand.
