Global Climate

Change
Alan Rolando Macas Sanchez
Introduction
Climate varies from place to place. Climate
is also variable over time. During the great
expanse of Earth history, and long before
humans were roaming the planet, there
were many shiftsfrom warm to cold and
wet to dry and back again.
The geologic record is a storehouse of data
that confirm this fact.
These changes are likely to continue for
many centuries.
Climate and Geology
The term weather refers to the state of the
atmosphere at a given time and place.
In contrast, climate is a description of aggregate
weather conditions, based on observations over many
decades.
The climate sistem.
The Earth is a multidimensional system that consists
of many interacting parts. A change in any one part
can produce changes in any or all of the other parts,
This fact is certainly true when it comes to the study
of climate and climate change.
