WHERE IS MIYAJIMA
POPULATION.
The population of Miyajima is 2,018. !last
recorded in 2008"
THE LANDSCAPE AND CLIMATE.
The landscape of Miyajima is beautiful oceans on one side of
the town and large peaceful forests on the mountains on the
other side. In Miyajima it rarely exceeding 30!C in the
summer. The most beautiful time to come according to the
locals is in Autumn when the Maple trees leaves change colour
from Green to red, yellow and orange.
MAN MADE.
Torii gate: Torii gate is a oating shrine that sits
just of the shore in Miyajimas inland sea. It is
painted a beautiful orange is best seen in low tide.
THE TOURIST BOX
The Miyajima tourist box in one of the most
successful business in Miyajima because of the large
amount of tourists arriving in Miyajima this includes
people from other countries and other people from all
over Japan.
COMPARE.
Miyajima compared to Wodonga is more close to
nature being right next to a forest and a inland sea
they have constant interactions with the local
wildlife. Miyajima and it is just a bit larger than
Wodonga. But in Wodonga we are surrounded by
bushland, hills and rivers/creeks.
