PonyBoy Curtis and Johnny

Cade are being called heroes.
They are being praised for saving
innocent children from the Windrix
abandoned church that caught on
fire yesterday. In WINDRIXVILLE,
Oklahoma around 11:45 the
children and their teachers were
on a field trip having a picnic
outside the church, some of the
children ran to play in the church
when to their surprise the Windrix
church caught on fire trapping
someofthechildreninside.

Curtis and Cade ran outside to

see what the commotion was
about and realized the church was
on fire, according to authorities
they have been hiding out there
due to a recent homicide. Curtis
and Cade were running in and out

They got most of the children out

however some were still trapped
inside the fire. So Curtis and cade
went back into the church till every
single child was out. While in the
fire after all the children was out
the smoke filled the room and it
got harder to see. Parts of the
roof then started to fall Curtis got
out safely but Cade didn't make it
out in one piece he was rushed to
a near by hospital with 3rd degree
burns all over his body. He is listed
in critical condition. Some may
say he is foolish but to the kids
and their families he is called a
hero.
