CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
This chapter covers with some conclusions and suggestions
A. CONCLUSION
Based on the findings and discussions of the study, the researcher puts the
following conclusion:
The achievement of the students speaking ability indicates that the
implementation of small group discussion based on gender effective to improves
students speaking ability at the twelfth students of SMA Model Negeri 2
Watampone class Exact 1. It is proved by the result of the t-test value that is
greater than the t-table value (6.333>2.021) in posttest.
B. SUGGESTIONS
Based on the result of the data analysis and conclusions, the researcher
proposed some suggestions as follows:
1. The teacher should have good preparation and interested media to attach the
students in order they dont feel bore and enjoy the learning process.
2. The teacher should be aware about learning style and gender differences
between students so that they can provide some better ways in teaching and
learning process.
3. The English teacher particularly those who teach at SMA Model Negeri 2
Watampone should use small group discussion based on gender to attach the

students in speaking English especially to reduce the difference learning style
between gender of the student.
4. In teaching English through small group discussion based on gender should
use interest topics.
5. Next researcher is expected to conduct a similar research in different
population, sample, or method to find the best way in altering the students
learning style and gender differences.
