Oil Field Services Group
Reservoir Characterization:
Finding and characterizing hydrocarbon deposits via using a
combination of reservoir imaging, information technology and consulting
services.
Drilling:
Drilling and positioning of oil/gas-well before production can begin.
This segments value drivers are technologies related to manufacturing drill
bits, fluids and pressure management systems.
Reservoir Production:
This segment consists of technologies involved in lifetime production of
oil and gas reservoir.
The above segments work in an integrated fashion-SLB calls it Integrated
Project Management to achieve the recovery, environmental and operational
targets of customers.

Today, Schlumberger products and services include
1) Open-hole and cased-hole wireline logging;
2) Drilling services;

3) Oil-Well services, such as cementing, coiled tubing, stimulations and
sand control;
4) Oil-Well completion services including well testing and artificial lift;

SCHLUMBERGER IN NEWS
One Subsea, (a Cameron and Schlumberger company), Helix Energy
Solutions Group, Inc. and Schlumberger announced that they have
entered into a letter of intent to form an alliance to develop
technologies and deliver services to optimize the cost and efficiency of
subsea well intervention systems

Schlumberger has announced the release of Petrel Shale, a customised
user interface and toolset engineered for exploiting shale resources.

efficiency)


Schlumberger has launched its "Quanta Geo" photorealistic reservoir
geology service, which produces images of the formation which are so
