Comparative and Superlative Adjectives (Re-Writing Part 1)


Adjectives can compare two or more nouns or pronouns. Add er to an adjective to make the
comparative form. The superlative form of an adjective compares more than two things or people.
Add est to an adjective to make the superlative form.
Directions: Re-Write each sentence below using the comparative or superlative form of the
adjective in parenthesis.
Example A: You are (tall) than me.
Answer A: You are taller than me.
